The history of the company’s origin
Saransk Pasta Factory is a large enterprise of the Republic of Mordovia. It specializes in the manufacture and sale of pasta products. The company has been operating for more than 20 years. our products are in great demand in Russia. In December 1958, the First pasta production opened in Saransk . In 1995, the Government of the Republic of Mordovia issued a decision on the formation of the State Unitary Enterprise “Saransk Pasta Factory”. production output was generally only 300 kg per day in the first stages .
Every year the production capacity increased. in the 80s of the last century, production reached 300 tons per month. For 4 years, the plant has increased the quality and level of pasta production by 10 times, which in 1998 amounted to 4926 tons. The achievements of the production team were repeatedly noted by the Government of the Republic of Mordovia. In the 90s, there was a decline in production: technical equipment and production technologies became irrelevant, production output in 1994 amounted to only 500 tons.
Modernization of production
In 2004, a new plant of the Italian company “PAVAN S. p.A” with a capacity of 1200 kg per hour was introduced at the plant. As a result, the volume of production increased by 1.28 times and amounted to 5720 tons. In March 2005 the 2nd exclusive line for the production of short-cut pasta of the company “PAVAN S. p.A” with a capacity of 1300 kg per hour was launched. In April 2006, the 3rd direction of “Buhler AG” (Switzerland) was put into use. This setup made it possible to make long pasta (spaghetti). A cooperation agreement was signed in October 2018. Its goal was to form an economic partnership, as well as to expand trade relations between enterprises of Mordovia and Kazakhstan.

In 2020, the monthly production volume will be 1,600 tons. The list of products has dozens of names: weight short-cuts gr. In (vermicelli, feathers, gre-beshki, noodles, horns, etc.) weight long-cuts gr. B (spaghetti wavy noodles, thin pasta, etc.) packed with gr. A and B for 0.45, packing gr. A and B. 0.9 each, packing gr. In 3 kg, packing gr. In 5 kg each.
Products
Today, the company is engaged in the manufacture of pasta under the trademarks “Solar Mill” and “Grandis”. They are represented in major cities of Russia. In 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2017, the Saransk Pasta Factory was awarded with first-degree diplomas of the republican contest “Best Products of Mordovia” in the category “Food Products”.
We use purified water from artesian springs and flour of the highest grades in our production. These are the only ingredients that make up our pasta. Saransk Pasta Factory offers its customers affordable prices, convenient payment methods, and the possibility of delivery to all regions of the Russian Federation.
Pasta is made from environmentally friendly raw materials. This is considered a guarantee of perfect product quality. Saransk Pasta Factory strives to continuously increase production efficiency and improve product quality.
Saransk Pasta Factory presents its own products at city, national, interregional and international exhibitions and yar-brands. In 2015, the Saransk Pasta Factory took part in providing humanitarian assistance to the residents of the Crimean peninsula.
